About Dr. Rosenberg
Benjamin Rosenberg, PhD
I am a registered psychological associate (#94027984) serving adults throughout Los Angeles and California. I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in the treatment of depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, borderline personality, and related mental health concerns.
I completed my undergraduate education at Stanford University, where I majored in psychology. I then completed a post-baccalaureate research program at Stanford University, where I studied neural processes in depression and posttraumatic stress disorder. Following these experiences, I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in the Anxiety and Depression Research Center.
I completed my clinical training in CBT, ACT, and DBT at the UCLA Psychology Clinic, the UCLA Anxiety and Depression Research Center, the UCLA Depression Grand Challenge, and the Veteran’s Affairs San Diego Healthcare System (San Diego VA). During my psychology internship at the San Diego VA, I specialized in general outpatient mental health and inpatient trauma- and substance-focused treatments.
In addition to seeing patients in private practice, I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at UCLA. My research program is funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) with a focus on Biobehavioral Mechanisms of Mental and Physical Health. In this role, I study strategies for improving treatment of anxiety and depression, as well as how anxiety and depression symptoms emerge during adolescent development.
My preferred pronouns are he/him/his.
